Chairman’s Farewell Message:
The time has come to write a final Chairman’s message from myself. I am stepping down as Centre Chairman at the 2026 AGM and leaving you all in safe hands with a new committee. I have been very honoured and privileged to be the Chairman second time around and represent this great centre of which I have been part of for most of my life. However, it is now time for others to take the lead and continue to take this centre forward, hopefully for many more years to come.
If you feel you would like to be part of the senior committee and give fresh ideas and a bit of your time to the centre, please fill in a nomination form and send it to the Centre Secretary at least 14 days before the AGM which is to be held on Saturday 12th September 2026. All positions are open for election.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all my committee members for their continued work and dedication in helping the centre continue to be successful.
The juniors have just held their annual rally at Sycamore Farm where everybody seemed to have lots of fun. Thank you to the junior committee and their families for their efforts. If any children aged 11years or older would like to join the junior committee, again fill in a nomination form and become a committee member. To all members, please keep supporting them, remember, they are the centre’s future.
To all the rally officers, thank you for all your support over the years in running rallies and continuing to do so as without these rallies we wouldn’t have a programme for us all to enjoy.
Can I also thank all centre members outside of the committee who have stepped in to represent me as a rally chair. It is very much appreciated.
As summer holidays are just around the corner, enjoy wherever you go and safe travels.
Finally, and with a heavy heart I say thank you to you all for your support over the years. Although stepping down from the Chairman’s role, Angela and I will still be out and about on the rally field. See you soon.
Chris Haig
Centre Chairman

Not long now until the festivities are in full swing. The countdown to the big day is on! We have already had an early visit from Father Christmas who visited the Centres Children’s Christmas party and brought some lovely gifts.

Please check with CAMC that you are a Cheshire Centre member as this is not automatically renewed with your membership renewal. If you are not registered as a centre member you will not receive any emails with the rally book information or weekly updates and may miss out on booking rallies before they become full. For those who like to have a hard copy, these can be purchased from a committee member in the new year.

Chairman's Message:
Hi Everyone
As the summer now begins to fade and darker nights are upon us, we can start to look forward to the winter rallies.
Even though the Christmas party rally is now full, the centre’s children can still attend the party and hopefully get to meet Father Christmas and if they have been good enough they may even get a present. To book them a place and further information please email fatherchristmas@cheshirecentre.co.uk
September is already upon us, the Centre’s AGM and Rally officers meeting are now only less than a week away. Please remember if you are attending the AGM meeting you will need your membership cards to ensure you are able to speak.
Rally officers, if you haven’t submitted your rallies for the 2026 rally programme, please make sure you do so before or at the meeting. Once the meeting has closed no further rallies will be accepted into the programme unless it is for an empty
weekend only, and with committee’s approval.
As my first year back as Centre Chairman comes to a close, can I thank all my committee and their partners over the last 12 months for all their hard work and all the rally officers for their time and effort in running rallies for this centre.
See you on a rally field soon.

Should you fancy joining the committee, come and try it. speak to any committee member and put your nomination in. We are always looking for new people and new ideas.
The rally programme for 2026 is on the website. If you have a rally in mind please submit this to the rally secretary asap. Remember the more rallies the more choice we all have to be away at the weekends.
