chairman's message
It is with pride and a great deal of pleasure that I write this, my first Chairman’s message. To be chosen to lead the Cheshire Centre is a very great honour and one I will strive to be worthy of.
This year has seen changes to the Centre Committee, with the departure of Chris Haig and Chris Donovan, both of whom have put a tremendous amount of effort on your behalf during their tenure. We welcome some new and returning faces to the committee; this diverse mix of experienced ralliers, on your committee, should bring fresh ideas to push the centre forward towards its 50th birthday celebrations. I would like to extend the thanks of the Cheshire Centre to them all.
2018 will have its challenges; the first being to get ralliers back out on to the rally field, a problem that all centres are facing, but I would ask you all to embrace new and returning members and offer them the hand of friendship that Cheshire are famous for.
May I express many thanks to those Centre members who have offered to run rallies for the Centre, without their effort and time, which they give freely, none of us would be rallying. Thanks must also go to the landowners who allow us to use their land and facilities.
I look forward to the coming year where we can create family fun and happy memories while extending a warm welcome to all who wish to join us. Andrea and I wish you all a happy caravanning year in 2018 and we look forward to seeing you on the rally field very soon.
Don’t forget, my caravan door is always open, so pop in for a chat.
