![]() As we end 2021 and look back over the past 12 months and reminisce, it’s been one that started in lockdown and our first 4 months of rallies were wiped out, but once we could begin again our rallies ran (following strict guidelines) thanks to the dedication of our volunteers. We have, over the past 6 months, been able to enjoy more and more normality with our rallying programme. I do hope that with the latest concern’s and the Plan B guidelines we can all still enjoy our pass time and stay safe. Our 2022 Rally Handbook was released and emailed to all of our registered members on 5th December – that’s nearly 3,300 copies sent out! I do hope that the rallies in next year’s brochure will be able to run, and that as many of our members will take the opportunity to support the Centre’s volunteers who run these fantastic events. With so many Centre members, it would be fantastic if we can beat 2022’s planned 74 rallies, and see this number go over 100 in 2023 program – providing omicron has nothing to say about that, of course! As we have such a varied rally programme for the coming year, I encourage everyone to start booking rallies as soon as possible - especially those held in the early months of 2022 so not to be disappointed and help our Rally Officers plan their rallies! As 2021 draws to a close, our thoughts go out to all those families who have lost loved ones both within our Centre and beyond. Let’s all take a moment to reflect and remember those we’ve lost, and cast our thoughts into the future as we all hope for a brighter 2022. Eileen and I would both like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very safe Christmas, and a healthy, happy New Year wherever you are to spend it. I do hope we get the opportunity to see you all soon on the rally field. Paul Bedworth Chairman Cheshire Centre Caravan and Motorhome Club
