can have a natter over a cup of coffee, all welcome. |

The
West Central Region Golf Championship event
is kindly sponsored by TWG Hyundai (Northwich
Ltd). It is an 18 hole Stableford
competition. Maximum handicap Gents 24
Ladies 36; It is open to all Caravan Club
members .
The
cost of the event to include bacon roll and
coffee, 18 hole competition, course evening
meal and presentation, is £38.00,meals for
additional guests £19.00.

A brief history:
The above society was started over 30 years ago by a
few centre members who enjoyed rallying and a game
of golf. Over the last few years, the Society has
evolved with a little more formality than in those
early days but it's aims and ethos remain the same,
i.e. to enjoy our hobbies of rallying and golf, with
an edge of competition but with a great deal of
friendship. The Society is open to all members
of the Cheshire Centre. You do not need a club
handicap as we run our own system that, hopefully,
gives everyone a chance of winning.
Unfortunately, over the last few years the playing
numbers have dropped from around 24 to just under 9.
Only the fact that we have been joined by guests at
venues, have we been able to forfill our bookings,
which most clubs insist is at least 10 players. I
believe that there are many more players within the
centre that think they have to be booked on a
certain rally. This is certainly not the case. If
you are interested in playing in any of our games,
please email me at the address below for details .
The fixture will also be appearing on the Cheshire
Centres web site at the beginning of the year. So
please, all you keen golfers out there, help keep
this great society going. |
